Here, you will work practically, with variety, and with a professional pride evident in every assignment. As a ship mechanic, you are one of those who ensures that everything from passenger ferries to workboats continues to run safely, securely, and efficiently.

What does a typical day look like with us? No two days are alike. One day you work on engines and mechanical systems, the next you are welding, replacing hydraulic hoses, troubleshooting electronics, or participating in dry-docking operations. The work is done both independently and together with skilled colleagues – a team where everyone helps each other, learns new things, and always works for the best result.

You will, for example, work with:

• Repairs and maintenance of engines and mechanical systems
• Welding and sheet metal work
• Pipe installations and hydraulics
• Ship electrics and troubleshooting on board
• Painting, sandblasting, and other shipyard work
• Participation in sea trials and dry-docking

If there is any specific task you feel unsure about, there are always supportive colleagues to ask so we can help each other.

Who we think you are You enjoy solving problems and see opportunities where others see obstacles. Experience in mechanics, vehicles, industry, or marine work is a good foundation – experience with ships, hydraulics, welding, or electrics is an asset, but not a requirement. Most important is the right attitude, a meticulous working method, and the joy of doing a good job together with others. A B-class driver's license is a requirement.

The position is full-time, based on Rindö in Vaxholm. Service assignments in the Stockholm area may occur.
